Want to Make Money Online? Try Creating a Targeted Opt in Email List

To build a list you need to bring traffic to your website – without you’ll never make any money. With list building essentially being a numbers games, your profitability will largely depend on how big you can make your list.

Even a small trickle of traffic can be sufficient, to start with at least, because so long as you have a good website and give people a good reason to sign-up to you list, then it’s really not all that difficult to add an extra 4 or 5 people to it everyday. Though that might not seem a lot, keep it up for a year and you’ll have 1500 people signed up.

Here’s a motivator for you…with just a little effort on my behalf, I made $2000 from one of my lists that has just a couple of hundred people on it. On that basis, that means that 100 people on your list could translate to $1,000 if you have a powerful offer.

Those aren’t just my figures either; it’s widely accepted that, with a solid targeted opt in email list, you can generate around $1 per person on average. Your niche and marketing skills obviously have a bearing, but plenty of relative newcomers achieve that already, and the gurus far exceed it. But, it
